Kitchi Pork Meatballs

Homemade pork meatballs with a tender, springy texture, seasoned using just one bottle of Kitchi Sauce—no multiple seasonings needed. Invite the kids to help shape the meatballs for a fun and delicious family activity. Enjoy them as a snack or serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Ingredients

  • 300 g chilled minced pork

  • 2–3 tbsp Kitchi Sauce, or adjust to taste

  • 1½ tbsp cornstarch

  • ¼–½ tsp pepper

  • 2 tbsp ice-cold water

  • Water, for poaching the meatballs

Instructions

  1. Place the minced pork, cornstarch, pepper, Kitchi Sauce, and ice-cold water in a food processor.

  2. Blend until the mixture is smooth, sticky, and thoroughly combined. Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes to help it firm up and make shaping easier.

  3. Bring a pot of water to a boil, then reduce to medium heat to prevent the water from boiling too vigorously.

  4. Shape the pork mixture into bite-sized balls and carefully lower them into the hot water, taking care to avoid splashes.

  5. Poach until the meatballs float, then continue cooking for another 3–5 minutes to ensure the pork is fully cooked.

  6. Remove the meatballs and allow them to drain. Serve immediately or use them in other dishes as desired.

Kitchi Pork Meatballs are tender and springy, with a fragrant pepper aroma and well-balanced flavor. One bottle of Kitchi Sauce provides all the seasoning you need. They’re easy to make with just a few ingredients and can be enjoyed in a wide variety of dishes.
